Live like a rockstar (literally) in this Mississauga mansion
ROLLING STONES FORMER CRASH PAD ON THE MARKET
This is a 10,000 square foot, 5 bedroom, 6 bathroom house on a 105.41 x 389.31 foot lot at 2350 Doulton Drive in Erindale, Mississauga. According to this Toronto Star article about the house written in 2011, the land was owned by business man John Sazs who hired Montreal architect Frederic Roman to build the house after turning down the plans of 8 other architects. It took 18 months to build and this is a photo of it circa 1978... From the Our Homes article where that photo came from, at some point, the house was sold to John Vandyk of Vandyk Group of Companies who apparently did some updating while keeping the integrity of the original house. A few months before that article was written, it was the Toronto Life House of the Week when it was for sale and the asking price was $8,900,000. According to tha Toronto Life article, in 2003, it was the home to the Rolling Stones when they were in Toronto performing for 'SARS-stock', also known as Molson Canadian Rocks for Toronto, in 2003.
